The exhibition and conference will be presented in English and Mandarin.
Coming to Singapore for the very first time, the Mosaic of Marks Exhibition Atelier and Conference tells the story of research done in Reggio Emilia’s infant-toddler centres and preschools on mark-making and drawing woven with narrative. Having travelled to many countries such as Canada, North and South America, Japan, Vietnam, Kuwait and more, it is indeed an honour and privilege to bring it to Singapore. After Singapore, the exhibition will travel to China and Australia. The exhibition will be offered in English and Mandarin for the very first time! This is your only chance to catch it!
Alongside the exhibition, Reggio Emilia in Asia for Children (REACH) will also offer a conference on the 22nd and 23rd of November and interactive atelier sessions for professional development on the Mosaic of Marks.
The conference offers two ticket tiers: Gold and Platinum. Basic tickets grant access to the conference sessions and exhibition, while Plus tickets include access to the conference sessions, exhibition, and networking event. Group discounts are also available.
You can experience the Mosaic of Marks exhibition in the following ways:
1. Conference and exhibition - Participate in the first Reggio Conference in Singapore since 2018 with speakers from Reggio Emilia and also access a complimentary visit to the exhibition.
2. Interactive Atelier sessions - Facilitated by REACH trainers who have been studying the Reggio Emilia Approach over a considerable period and have participated in professional learning with educators from Reggio Emilia, this session is for educators to delve deeper into opportunities to research combinations of mark-making tools and material supports and take back transformative learning opportunities to their context.
3. Private Exhibition visits - Facilitated by REACH, these visits will include a discussion after the session and will be conducted in groups of 10
We are able to offer Mandarin translations for all sessions.
