REACH aims to:

  • Advocate for an engender respect for the young child and their learning capacities;

  • Serve as a reference point within the Asian context for the dissemination of information, research, and thinking across a broad network of collaborators including policy makers, architects, artists, parents, educators, and students in reference to the principles and values of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project;

  • Create opportunities for research and innovation; networking and collegial reflection; dialogues and information sharing amongst Asian educators and other colleagues around the world;

  • Undertake a leadership role in establishing and promoting high quality educational early childhood practice, including the establishment of quality environments and learning experiences;

  • Adopt a futures perspective to promote children’s awareness of their role in creating a sustainable environment;
